Alteq.ict is an avid proponent of innovation especially as it relates to education, technology and lifestyle improvement. We believe that the critical imperative for growth and national development is the creation of superior knowledge and to this end we are instituting a research sponsorship program solely for this purpose.

Alteq Research is an inter-disciplinary initiative that provides analysis and insights into the interaction that exists between technology, education, cognition and lifestyle; assessing the impact of technology on quality of life, human development, social interaction and economic growth.

The benefits of Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) have been enumerated, discussed and debated on varied platforms and on multiple occasions. These discussions largely draw from the experiences of early adopters of technology in developed countries. As later adopters of technology, emerging and developing nations are able to benefit from the hindsight of implementation of innovation in the developed world; but this is not sufficient.

We need to put in place, a means by which we can conduct our own independent and objective analysis of ICT, especially as it relates to education and learning, growth and development and lifestyle modification. We need to know the impact of ICT within our own environment set against the background of our own ethnographic realities and cultural agitations.
